Common Questions

We've answered the most common questions about outdoor kitchens, patios and backyard design.  If you have a question not listed below, feel free to contact us anytime.

How much does an outdoor kitchen cost in Austin?

Most custom outdoor kitchens in Austin range from $10,000 - $40,000+, depending on size, appliances, materials and layout.  Smaller grill islands start around $10-$15k, while full kitchens with refrigeration, storage and premium finishes can reach $40-$60k+.

How long does it take to build an outdoor kitchen?

Most outdoor kitchens take 2-6 weeks from start to finish, depending on the project scope and materials.  You'll receive a clear timeline during the proposal phase.

Can you build an outdoor kitchen on my existing patio?

Often yes.  If your concrete slab is in good condition, we can build directly on it.  If not, we may recommend reinforcing or extending it.  We assess this during your on-site consultation.

Do you provide custom 3D renderings?

Yes!  Every project includes a custom 3D rendering so you can visualize your outdoor kitchen or living space before construction begins.

What materials are best for outdoor kitchens in Texas?

We use weather-resistant, long-lasting materials such as masonry, stone, stucco, stainless steel and Dekton/Granite countertops.  These hold up extremely well in Austin's heat and humidity.

Will my outdoor kitchen rust or fade?

Not with the materials we use.  Our stainless steel appliances, sealed countertops and outdoor-rated finishes are designed to withstand weather, heat and heavy use.

What appliances should I include in my outdoor kitchen?

Most clients choose the following, but we'll help you select appliances based on how you cook and entertain.

  • Gas or charcoal grill

  • Power burner

  • Refrigerator

  • Storage drawers/doors

  • Pizza oven or griddle

  • Sink

Do you build patios, decks, pergolas and fire pits?
